Nozipho Bhengu is a Director at Werksmans Attorneys, an African legal and governance specialist. She has specialized in commercial transactions, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions and project finance and has established a strong reputation for expertise and knowledge. Nozipho is a highly sought-after legal & governance consultant and advisor for many African companies. Nozipho graduated with a Masters of Law in International Trade Law and brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the legal & governance field.
Nozipho’s extensive experience and knowledge in corporate governance, procurement and due diligence is an excellent asset for B4A and will serve as our lead for all legal and governance matters.
Lebo Mokoena is the founder of Cre8ight-with-Lebo, a marketing and digital solutions provider that offers tailor-made communication solutions. As the B4A Director for Outreach and Partnerships, Lebo plays an integral role in developing, maintaining, and expanding B4A’s network of partners and, as such, is committed to establishing relationships aligned with our ethos and, at the same time, ensures that organisations that partner with B4A are positively impacted.
Lebo’s meticulous approach to problem-solving and dedication to innovating has been the catalyst for numerous successful initiatives, and her ability to engage and motivate audiences as well as form strong relationships is an excellent asset to B4A.
Davorka Shepherd has over 20 years of international development experience in leadership positions with the Swiss government and international organisations, including the World Bank Group. Davorka is an experienced professional with extensive expertise in program and project management, strategy development, resource mobilisation, fundraising, strategic communication, and stakeholder management. She supports international development agencies, donors, non-governmental organisations, and private sector partners to maximise their development impact goals. Her focus has been to deliver complex multi-country programs and project management with experience in design, strategic planning, proposal development, resource mobilisation, project cycle management (PCM), budgeting, financial management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), results-based management (RBM), and reporting. She is also an accredited executive coach working with international development professionals to help them navigate complex realities and maximise their leadership, performance, and impact.
As B4A’s strategy, financial and results management Director she will guide B4A to ensure that cost-effective solutions are sought to deliver maximum impact to our beneficiaries and structure M&E reporting mechanisms ensuring that tangible results are achieved on the ground.
Colin is the Managing Director of Leaf Development Advisory Group and a highly experienced professional with more than 20 years working at the World Bank Group and other International Finance institutions (IFIs). He has vast expertise in supporting development-minded organizations to deliver effective and impactful projects in emerging markets. In addition to his professional pursuits, Colin is also an active member of the community. He founded a BMX Team, co-chairs the Cradle BMX Club and is part of the Gauteng BMX Committee. All these initiatives lend to his passion for empowering those often left behind. In recognition of his inspiring work on gender issues, he was awarded by the Chair Blair Foundation for his groundbreaking efforts.
By creating platforms that facilitate and promote inclusion, Colin is an invaluable asset to the B4A. He is keen to drive impactful initiatives that raise awareness of the issues faced by the underserved and create pathways that will enable them to make fundamental changes in their lives on and off the track.
Matthias Egli, a dedicated father to three accomplished BMX riders, has immersed himself in the world of this exhilarating sport. Matthias’ devotion to BMX and his ability to positively impact the sport locally and internationally make him an invaluable figure in the BMX community. His relentless commitment and unwavering support are essential to the growth and success of the BMX riders he mentors and inspires. Utilizing his expertise and passion, he currently holds a position as the athletic division overseer for Switzerland’s renowned BMX club, Winterthur BMX, which has produced numerous BMX world champions over the years. In his role at Winterthur, Matthias has played an integral role in implementing optimal training structures within the club to aid in the success of its riders.
However, his involvement in BMX goes beyond the boundaries of the club. Matthias is actively involved in the international BMX community and leads the support team for Challenge riders at various international races, including the BMX World Championships. With his extensive experience and unwavering dedication, he ensures that young riders are fully prepared and equipped to excel at their competitions, allowing them to reach their full potential.
As an advisor for BMX4ALL, Matthias will advocate for our mission and, at the same time, guide training programs for our served riders. We are honoured to have Matthias as a trusted advisor and supporter in our mission to bring BMX to all communities.
Jeff’s passion for and dedication to BMX goes beyond being an enthusiast. He is determined to see the sport grow and has always sought to give back and inspire the next generation of BMX riders. This led him to establish Driven Cycling Academy (DCA) in Boise, Idaho, in 2018. With a modest beginning of only 15 riders, DCA has since more than doubled in size thanks to Jeff’s relentless efforts and love for nurturing young BMX riders.
As the head coach of DCA, Jeff works closely with each of his riders to create tailored training plans and help them set attainable goals. His program prioritizes the importance of nutrition, physical fitness, and involvement in volunteering events. Under his guidance, Jeff’s riders have attained impressive feats, including becoming state and regional champions, placing in the top 10 nationally, and earning spots on the UCI World Championship Team.
Jeff is highly regarded as an individual for his generosity, positivity, and ability to inspire others. He is a natural leader and takes a meticulous, patient approach to coaching every rider. His genuine personality and willingness to go above and beyond have profoundly impacted the lives of those around him. Besides his achievements in BMX, Jeff has also selflessly provided financial aid to members of the community in need, as well as pro bono training, particularly to riders in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Furthermore, he plans to travel to Africa in 2024 to assist the development riders of the Crupi Racing team in preparing for the BMX World Championships in South Carolina in 2024 and improving their team coaches’ training techniques.
Jeff’s unwavering commitment to advancing BMX is evident, and he continues to inspire countless riders on and off the racetrack.

Crosby Mashiri is a highly experienced and dedicated cycling enthusiast passionate about developing and promoting the sport in his home country of Zimbabwe.
As a UCI Level 2 Coach, UCI Certified National Commissar, and Certified Sports Administrator, Crosby has a broad skill set enables him to take on various roles in the cycling world successfully. With a strong background in coaching and leadership, Crosby has led and managed national and club teams at prestigious events such as the UCI Grand Fondo World Championships, UCI Combined World Championships and CAC Africa Road and MTB Championships. He also serves as Head of Technical for the Southern Lights Junior Development Program and CTT Junior Development Program, showcasing his commitment to nurturing young talent in the sport. Crosby’s expertise and leadership have also led him to hold positions such as Vice Chairman of Tsvaira Cycling Club and Technical Director of Cycling Zimbabwe.
Crosby also volunteers as a committee member for the Preachers Basketball Club, further displaying his dedication to community activities and promoting sportsmanship.
In addition to his professional achievements, Crosby is an avid participant in cycling races, including the challenging Blue Cross 500km, a six-day event and the UCI Spinneys Dubai Gran Fondo Series. He has also won a gold medal at the MiGym Masters Race. Crosby’s critical skills, including effective communication, leadership, nutrition management, and organization, make him a valuable asset to any team. His ability to prioritize and collaborate with others and his strong time management skills allow him to excel in various roles.
As a UCI Level 1 Mechanic, Crosby also possesses technical expertise, ensuring the smooth running of any cycling event or team. With upcoming assignments at high-profile events such as the Zimbabwe National Championships, Continental Championships and UCI World Championships, Crosby continues to impact the cycling world significantly. His dedication, passion, and vast experience make him a respected figure in the sport, and he will continue making a positive difference in the future of cycling.
